UNFPA, in partnership with the National Union of Djiboutian Women (UNFD), organized a workshop for women and girls community leaders in the city of Djibouti on 12-13 October. 60 community leaders will be responsible for identifying survivors of gender-based violence, particularly FGM, to ensure their referral to receive needed care. The community leaders will receive in-depth training on data collection to help establish a comprehensive database system on GBV cases.
