UNFPA in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Families with financial support from the European Union organized a workshop on the governance of the national response to gender-based violence, November 28, 2022.
This workshop aimed to present the establishment of an online platform, GBVIMS, for the management of data related to cases of gender-based violence.
The launch of GBVIMS demonstrates the political will to strengthen the coordination of services through effective monitoring of cases by allowing each link in the chain to enter data relating to its sector.
This workshop included the Minister of Health, the Minister of Women and Family, the Secretary General of Justice, representatives of the European Union, UNICEF and UNDP as well as the technicians responsible for the Implementation.
Furthermore, this platform strengthens prevention, protection and care services for victims who have suffered violence.
