On 20-23 June, UNFPA and the Ministry of Health organized a workshop on the development of a National Pharmaceutical Policy and a national supply chain strategy. The National Pharmaceutical Policy (NPP) aims to establish a national framework to develop the pharmaceutical sub-sector. The workshop was an opportunity to discuss the challenges and gaps that face the pharmaceutical sector, including legislation, supply chain, rational use, list of essential medicines, training of personnel, etc.
