On 6 February, UNFPA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Family, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Muslim Affairs, and the National Union of Djiboutian Women, marked the International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM.250 participants, including officials from the government and various ministerial departments, and representatives of civil society attended the event. Youth association network, religious leaders, Men and Boys network, and community leaders made 10 public FGM abandonment declarations.
