As part of the capacity-building activities, UNFPA in collaboration with the Department of Mother-Child Health conducted a quantification exercise of reproductive health products from 17 to 19 September.
A team of senior staff from the Department of National Regulatory Authorities, the Supply Chain Department, and the Department of Information Management System took part in this exercise.
The objective of this exercise was to strengthen the Ministry of Health in the quantification and multi-year planning of RH commodities. The method based on consumption data and the method based on demographic data and morbidity were both used.
A practical exercise, the team was able to produce projected needs for 2020 reproductive health commodities needs.
