UNFPA and the Ministry of Women and the Family, in partnership with the National Union of Djiboutian Women, organized a musical concert for young people and adolescents, with the support of the European Union, on the occasion of International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM, 6 February. The aim of the event was to accelerate the total abandonment of FGM by mobilizing 800 young people, including 350 boys, to get them involved in the fight against FGM.
