UNFPA in collaboration with the Djibouti Association for Balance and Family Wellbeing organized training of young peer educators on the use of FGM-related networks, which took place in the National Institute of public administration on 05.09.2018.
This training aimed to train 36 young people from youth groups and associations on the use of social networks to share information and knowledge on FGM and sexual health of adolescents and young people in connection with human rights
This training included how to use different platforms such as (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Linked, etc ...) but especially how to create and disseminate information with different target audiences.
But also how to set up a communication strategy and how to share information, with practical exercises with A subject, a target, an information and dissemination tool, a monitoring and measurement tool, a final result.
This training complements the reinforcement of the Youth Friendly Center, which aims to be a place where young people can express themselves and exchange knowledge.
