UNFPA in partnership with community-based organizations organized training on reproductive health and rights for 35 girls from 7 Associations on 18-20 June 2019, in Djibouti.

The purpose of the training was to strengthen the skills of the young community relay girls on human rights, in particular reproductive rights, family planning, and gender-based violence.

With the knowledge gained during the training, several girls have prepared community-based projects on prevention against early pregnancy, occasional prostitution, and risky behaviors.

In order to achieve the objectives set in the compact of commitment, UNFPA through this innovative approach will support the proposals of the projects of these young girls.
