On 15-18 August, UNFPA, in partnership with eight community-based associations, held planning meetings to prepare for peer education activities across the country. The meetings brought together 80 young and adolescent girl community leaders who are members of the Network of Young Girls that works on raising community awareness on sexual and reproductive health with a focus on FGM. The meetings were an opportunity to discuss the establishment of youth-friendly spaces within the eight associations.
