On 19 August, UNFPA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Family and with financial support from the European Union. organized a workshop on the implementation of the Essential Services Package of Gender-Based Violence/ Female Genital Mutilation services.
30 participants attended the workshop, representing the multisectoral group serving women and girls in Djibouti. The Essential Services Package is a guidance tool identifying the minimum essential services to be provided to all women and girls who have experienced gender-based violence, including services that should be provided by the health, social services, police, and justice sectors
