The National Reference Centre for Reproductive Health ‘Housseina’, in collaboration with UNFPA, held advocacy and awareness sessions on cervical and breast cancer prevention on 8-15 February. 90 women and young girl peer educators from eight associations participated in the sessions that will help them cascade the acquired knowledge to women and girls in their communities to raise public awareness about screening services and referral pathways in health facilities, particularly at the National Reference Centre for Reproductive Health.
