UNFPA, in partnership with civil society organizations working with young girls and boys, organized a workshop on the contextualization of youth engagement and the guidelines for community actions to end FGM on 29-30 March. 150 young peer educators and civil society activists, and representatives of associations of people living with disabilities took part in training sessions on results-based management. A coordination working group formed of 15 young coordinators, representing the youth who joined the event, was established. Participants defined a framework of the main areas of intervention, including communication, coordination, awareness raising, and partnership.
