UNFPA, in collaboration with Balbala Hospital ‘CHEIKO’, supported the development of a computer-assisted maintenance management software package and on-the-job training of the hospital’ staff on 1-9 April. The CMMS is more than a computer tool as it helps manage knowledge, measure performance, automate operations and optimize the efficiency of the production system. Trained staff are now able to plan, execute and control all interventions and technicians are able to easily report online and offline.
