Under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Justice in charge of Human Rights, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in collaboration with UNFPA organized a popularization workshop on UPR recommendations related to Reproductive Rights in July 28, 2019.

Media, civil society as well as the national network of religious leaders (Shamekat Djibouti) were part of this workshop attended by 40 individuals.

This very participative meeting showed the high commitment of the country and in particular the NHRC and the civil society in this important issue.

According to the NHRC, this workshop will launch a series of other workshops to follow up on all UPR recommendations.
