UNFPA and the Ministry of Health identified a referral mechanism for pregnant women healthcare during the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure that RH services are integrated into the response to the pandemic.
As part of the initiative, 12 midwives and two doctors were trained on the minimum initial service package (MISP), 14 female community leaders were trained on how to support patients seeking RH services, and 2,000 dignity kits were distributed to women and girls in vulnerable settings.
